Summary: This work picks up after 2.22 “New York” and departs from canon after that. The members of New Directions are entering their senior year with a major shake-up at the beginning: Mr. Schuester accepted a role on Broadway over the summer and Ms. Pillsbury is taking over. What follows is a year where the seniors are all set to change the world, or at least change themselves.

In this episode, West Side Story rehearsals begin, Kurt and Brittany kick off their presidential campaign, Mercedes gets an opportunity, Rachel gets it together, and Santana falls apart.
